Mickey Harwood, age 78, of Pikeville, TN, died Saturday, May 17, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Harwood was a 1955 graduate of Rhea County High School. He was of the Methodist faith, a Bledsoe County Commissioner, where he served as chairman; a former Mayor of Pikeville, and a lifetime member of the VFW.
Preceded in death by parents Bradford and Ruby Harwood; sister Frankie Harwood.
Survivors include wife Maxine Harwood, Pikeville; daughter Kim Langston, Pikeville; sons Dr. Greg (Tracy) Harwood, Cartersville, GA; Butch Roberson, Pikeville; grandchildren Casey Shaver, Ashley (Zac) Roberson, James Harwood, Anna Harwood, Austin and Sawyer Landers; great-grandchildren Tyler Young, Tate and Tucker Shaver, Avery and Zander Roberson; sister Priscilla (Charlie) Corvin, Dayton; Carolyn (Tommy) Kelly, Dayton; brother Johnny Harwood, Graysville, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 3pm CDT at Collier Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Pikeville, TN. The family will receive friends Monday 3-9pm and Tuesday 11am-3pm CDT.
