Obituary of Joe Allen Milburn

Joe A. Milburn, age 95, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away Friday afternoon, April 4, 2014 at Memorial Health Care Center. He was a past member of St. Elmo United Methodist Church and a current member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, he was a World War II Veteran where he served in The United States Army Air Corps, he worked at Singer Cobble and retired from The Card Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, June Kelly Milburn; grandson, Alex St. Charles.
He is survived by his daughter, Judith M (Michael) St. Charles, Signal Mtn.; three sons, Joseph Kelly (Karen) Milburn, Oklahoma City, OK, James A. Milburn, Chattanooga, TN, and Jon Stewart (Diana) Milburn, Stafford, VA; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday 10:00 a.m. CDT at Chapel Hill Cemetery with Bro. Tom Tucker officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Donations can be made to Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Tuesday 6:00-8:00 p.m. CDT.
