Calvin Harvey, age 92, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at his home. He was of The Church of God Faith and a Veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by parents, Cornilius "Neiler" and Hallie Shadric Harvey; sisters, Catherine Shell, Nellie Snyder, Elsie Davis, and Janie Turner; brother, Bruce Harvey.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Lee Harvey; daughter, Linda (Roger) Camp; two sons, Carlos Harvey, all of Dunlap and Donnie (Jane) Harvey, Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Myrtle (John) Hensley, Chattanooga, brother, J.T. Harvey, Dunlap, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday 11:00 a.m. CDT at Harvey Cemetery with military honors provided by The Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Thursday 2:00-8:00 p.m. CDT.
