Bennett Mabry, age 85, of Dunlap, TN passed away Friday night July 11, 2008. in the Parkridge Medical Center. He was retired from truck driving and dozer work.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Beluah Cordell Mabry; son, Jerry Mabry; sister, Kathern Gann.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Mabry; daughter, Brenda Mabry, Chattanooga; son, Rex Mabry, Dunlap; step-daughter, Tina (Eddie) Simpson; step-son Troy (Kim) Fraizer, both of Bardstown, KY; two grandchildren, Lenny Mabry and Shellie Keener both of Dunlap; three step-grandchildren, Chad Simpson, Bardstown, KY, Shelby and Shawn Frazier, Boston, KY; three great-grandchildren, Marissa, Jerrod and Will Keener all of Dunlap; sister Joann Davis, Harrison; two brothers, Dan (Wilma) Mabry, Dunlap and Gilbert (Val) Mabry Charleston, S.C.; several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be Monday 11:00 a.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Marvin McClendon officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Putnam-Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, Dunlap. The family will receive friends from 2-8 Sunday.
