Nola Jean Whittenburg age 69 of Pikeville, TN died Wednesday July 9, 2008 at her home. She was a member of Calvary Freewill Baptist Church. She was the owner of J & N Flower Shop. She worked at Vaughn Chevrolet in Pikeville for twenty years.
Preceded in death by a daughter Iretha Deweese; parents, Nick and Grace Shrum; sisters, Norma Deweese and Velma Shrum and a brother, Elray Shrum.
She is survived by her husband Clyde Whittenburg of Pikeville; one son, Denny and wife Phyllis Deweese of Pikeville, TN; two granddaughters, Bailey Deweese of Nashville and Hayla Deweese of Murfreesboro; two sisters, Violet Woodson of Florida and Verna Thomas of Crossville; two brothers, Eston and wife Winette Shrum and Everette and wife Doris Shrum both of Crossville, TN.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. CDT at Mooneyham Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Sullivan and Rev. Delbert Raines officiating. Visitation will begin Thursday at 11:00 a.m. CDT at the church. Burial will be in Walling Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
