Helen Virginia Johnson, 69, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2008. She was a member of the Bethel Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by parents Mahala and Glenn Smith; brothers Rowland, Garland (Jumpy),
J D, and William ( Bud) Smith; sister Elvie Cameron.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years Bobby Johnson Sr.; son Bobby Johnson, Jr., Pikeville; daughters Rhonda Johnson (Susan Fuchs) Harrison; Annette (Tommy) Holland, Pikeville; Denise (Don) Wade, Huntsville, Al., sisters Merle Roberson, Pikeville; Jeanette Oakes, Chattanooga; 7 grandchildren: Wendy (Steven) Turner, Kelli (Jerod) Billingsley, Katie and Rebecca Holland, Shea , Trey, and Jacob Johnson; 4 great grandchildren: Tommy and Brady Turner, Pamela Holland and Katelynn Billingsley; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm CDT in the Chapel with Minister T. A. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Collier cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, 1-9 pm CDT and 9am until service time Sunday. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospic of Chattanooga or Bethel Church of Christ Ladies Fund.
