Dorothy Ruth Worthington, age 84, of Chattanooga, TN died Tuesday evening June 17, 2008 at the Life Care Center of Red Bank. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Maud Elliott; brother George Elliott, Jr: sisters, Leila, Georgia Marie and Lillie Mae Elliott, and Myrtle Waters; granddaughter, Krista Worthington.
Suvived by four sons, Frank (L.A.) Worthington, Clarksville, Paul (Vivianne) Worthington, FL, Michael Worthington, Ringgold, GA, John (Carolyn) Worthington, Cayman Island; daughter, Linda Bell. Vancouver, WA.; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dennis (Margaret) Elliott, and Randall (Margaret) Elliott both of Sequatchie; sisters, Maxine McLean Chattanooga, Rachel (John) Autry, Dunlap.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Brian Kearns officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. Condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com.
