Sylvia Evelyn Bell Newby, age 56, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Tuesday morning, January 14, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Floanna Bell; sister, Linda Sue Johnston; brother, Charles David Bell.
She is survived by her life long companion, John L. Fields; daughter, Jennifer Newby; son, Scott Newby, both of Dunlap; six grandchildren; six sisters; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 10:00 a.m. CST in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Wednesday 2:00-8:00 p.m. CST.
