Berta Ruth Long, age 80, of Dunlap, TN died Tuesday morning June 10, 2008 at her home. She was a member of Flat Mountain Baptist Church, retired cook for the Dunlap Middle School and was preceded in death by her parents, Perus and Blanche Green; sister, Elizabeth Lynn; brother, Joe Dillon Minton.
She is survived by her husband, Kelly Long; daughter, Yvonne Long; son Richard ( Patti) Long both of Chattanooga; two grandchildren, Morgan and Maddux Long; two sisters, Johnnie Sue Morgan and Wanda Henry; brother, P.A. Green all of Dunlap; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tony Cates officiating. Burial will be in Rankin Cemetery. Condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com.
Arrangements by Putnam-Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00-9:00 p.m. CDT.
