Vera Reagan, age 94 of Pikeville, died Sunday November 10, 2013. She was a Charter member of Sampson Freewill Baptist Church and wrote Sampson news for the Bledsonian Banner for numerous years.
Vera was preceded in death by her husband Frank Reagan; son Leon Reagan; parents Isom and Fannie Evans; sisters Lora Swallows, Artie Bickford and Ollie Cordell; brothers Herbert, Roy and Walter Evans.
Survivors include son Donnie ( Lois) Reagan; granddaughter Kerri (Jason) Wilburn and grandson Joe (Dana) Templin of Cosby; six great-grandchildren Tylar, Jaylen, and Morgan Wilburn; Patience, Kyle and Konnor Templin; several nieces and nephews; cousins and the family's "Guardian Angel" Fadonna Hickey.
Funeral service will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with Leslie Hickey and Bill Montandon officiating. Burial will be in Blankenship Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com Visitation will be Wednesday 9:00-9:00 CST.
