Beulah I. Simmons, age 86 of Pikeville, died Sunday, November 10, 2013. She was a life long member of Griffith Church of Christ and also belonged to the Retired Teachers Association.
Beulah was preceded in death by husband Milo Simmons; parents that raised and loved her Dault and Martha Jane Mooneyham; daughter Anna Paulette Simmons; great-grandson Duane Boynton; brothers William and Charles Walker; sister Mildred Van Dyne.
Survivors include daughter Wanda (Edward) Anderson; sons Clyde (Barbara) Simmons and Russell (Joyce) Simmons, all of Pikeville; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister Oma Britt, Crossville; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends; special care-taker Charlette Burgess.
Service will be Wednesday at 1:00 pm CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Tony Britt officiating. Burial will follow in Beach Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation Monday 2-9, Tuesday 2-9, and Wednesday 9am until service time.
