George Randell Axmacher, age 77, passed away Thursday October 31, 2013. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by parents, Archie and Margaret Axmacher; wife, Nancy Axmacher.
He is survived by two sons, Jimmy (Sherry) Axmacher, Dunlap, and Jerry (Rose) Axmacher, South Carolina; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth (Clarance) Shattuck, Hixson; two brothers, Edward Axmacher, Chattanooga, and David Axmacher, Sequatchie; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday 2:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Cagle-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Saturday 10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. CST.
