Ruby L. Reece age 91 of Pikeville, TN died Wednesday morning October 30, 2013 with family at her bedside. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in the Melvin Community. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bryant and Mattie Hedgecoth; children, Charles Homer, James Wendell and Jerry "Duck" Reece; granddaughter, Lacee Reece and three brothers, Ray, Carl and Paul Hedgecoth.
She is survived and will be missed by her family, three daughters, Carlene (Earl) Hankins, Linda (Hoyt) Neal, and Katie (Harold) Hankins; two sons, Richard (Deborah) Reece and Johnny Reece all of Pikeville; a daughter-in-law Dinah Reece Swafford of Crossville; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Helen Keedy, Pikeville and Martha Jones of Sidney, OH; one brother, Bill (Geneva) Hedgecoth of Spencer; sister-in-law, Elsie Hedgecoth; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm in the chapel with Brother Doyal Ashburn and Melton Ker officiating.Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery.
