Obituary of James Marvin Wooden

March 20, 1938-May 22, 2008 James Wooden, age 70, of Pikeville died May 22, 2008. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents Eli and Buba Mae Wooden; brothers and sisters, Luke Wooden, George Wooden, Authur Lee, Callie Obrenski, Dee wooden, Ruthy Yeargan, Jewell Dodd, John Wooden, Rita Rutledge, Bertha Yates and O. W. Wooden. Survivors include his wife Doris Wooden of Pikeville, sons Scotty (Deanna) Wooden, Woody (Christina) Wooden, daughter Lori (Keith) Smith all of Pikeville; grandchildren Amanda, Raquel, Matthew, Austin, Mason, Justin, McKinsey and Eli; sisters Ann Daggett of Chickamauga, Ga; Ruby Clark of Pikeville and brother Jr. Wooden of Pikeville; Services will be held Saturday, May 24 at 11:00 a. m. CDT in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Jimmy Jewell, Rev.Tom Swafford and Rev. Jeff Swafford officiating. Interment will be in the Rigsby Cemetery.
