Obituary of James Edward Laymon

Jim Laymon, age 69, of Cartwright, TN, passed away Saturday afternoon, October 12, 2013 at NHC Healthcare. He was a Vietnam Veteran. He was preceded in death by parents, John and Opal Laymon; sisters, Judy Laymon and Arlene Gamble.
He is survived by two sons, Johnny Laymon, Dunlap, and Jessie Laymon, Chattanooga; two grandchildren; four sisters, Barbara Grayson, Powell's Crossroads, Shirley Prestel, Whitwell, Delores Morgan, Cartwright, and Faye (Robbie) Brady, Daus; brother, Jerry Laymon, Trenton, GA; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be Saturday 11:00 a.m. CDT at Valley Community Church with Rev. Matt Henderson officiating. Following the service there will be food and fellowship at the old home place in Cartwright. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
