Dorothy Ann Copeland Barnett, age 88, of Soddy-Daisy, TN, formerly of Whitwell, TN, passed away Friday morning, October 4, 2013 at NHC Healthcare in Dunlap. She was of the Church of God Faith. She was preceded in death by two sons, James Alond and Charles Nelson Barnett.
She is survived by daughter, Paulette Barnett (Kenneth) Dotson, of Hixson; son, Howard B. "H.B." (Mary Alice); grandchildren, Barry N. Barnett, Lisa K. Krajick, Phillip Condra, Standifer Condra, Rebecca Meharg, and Charles Plott; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; two step-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Connie Foster Barnett Grissim.
Funeral services will be held Sunday 3:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Whitwell Memorial. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell. Family will receive friends Saturday 4:00-9:00 p.m. CDT.
