H. C. Guy, age 83 of Pikeville, died Wednesday, October 2, 2013. He was of the Church of God faith and was an avid Blue Grass music fan.
H. C. was preceded in death by his wife Wilma Jeanetta Guy; grandson, Seth Guy.
Survivors include daughter Marva (Donnie) Lawson; son Wendell Guy, all of Pikeville; grandchildren Laura (Richard) Keedy, Jessica (Eric) Angel; Nakisha (Nathan) West; great-grandchildren Faith, Hunter, Ashlyn and Sunday Keedy; Kaylan and Eli Angel; Natalie West; Brooklyn and Bryson Guy; two special friends Anita Coon and Elmer Blaylock; several nieces and nephews.
Service will be Sunday at 2:00 pm CST in the funeral home chapel with Elmer Blaylock and Freddy Savage officiating. Burial will be in Cagle Cemetery. Visitation Friday 2-9 pm CST, Saturday 10am-9pm CST, and Sunday 10am until service time.
