Willie L.A. "Twig" Higdon, age 37, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013. He was the owner of Git-R-Done Construction. He was preceded in death by mother, Carol Cagle Higdon; grandmother, Lucille Cagle; grandfather, Willie Higdon; step-mother, Marie Higdon.
He is survived by father, Jerry Higdon, Whitwell; two sister, Julie (Chris) Thornton and April (John) Anderson, both of Dunlap; fiancée, Pam Newman, Dunlap; Nieces and nephews, Destiny (Jonathan) Snyder, Logan Thornton, Dylan (Shelby) Vineyard, John "Quad" Anderson, Shane Anderson, Tori Thornton; step-daughter, Katelynne Newman; step-son, Steven Louallen; grandparents, Josephine Higdon, Lem Cagle; several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 12:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Donnie Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Hoodenpyle Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday 2:00-9:00 p.m. CDT and Wednesday 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. CDT.
