Obituary of Lula Belle Prater

Lula Belle Prater age 80 of Pikeville, TN died Monday May 12, 2008 at her home. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Church of Christ. Preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Prater and brothers, L.V. and Earl Curtis.
She is survived by two daughters, Katherine (Beacher) Bowman of Pikeville and Alene Walker of Dunlap, TN; four sons, Jerry D. (Ann) Prater and Rayburn (Joyce) Prater of Spencer, TN and Marvin "Hoss" Prater and Eugene "Bo" Prater of Pikeville; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Elizabeth (Eugene) McMillen of Pikeville.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the chapel with Minister Ricky McGowan officiating. Visitation Tuesday 4-9 p.m. and Wednesday 9-9 p.m. CDT. Burial in Hitchcox Cemetery.
