Virginia Deakins, age 89 of Whitwell, died Sunday, August 25, 2013. She was preceded in death by parents Abner and Hurah Deakins.
Survivors include cousins and lots of friends in the surrounding area; a sitter, Carol Kilgore, and hospice workers that she thought of as family.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 pm CDT at Red Hill Cemetery. Chaplain Ricky Vaughn will be officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 28, Whitwell, TN.
