Robert Jay "Bob" Wells, age 59, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at his home. He was a member of Dunlap Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was preceded in death by father, Hume Wells.
He is survived by his wife, Beth Wells; daughter, Scarlett Elizabeth Wells, Dunlap; mother, Virginia Smith, Silver Spring, MD; sister, Nancy Elizabeth Wells, Sackville, Nova Scotia; brother, Michael Wells, Darmouth, Nova Scotia; several nieces and nephews; four step-children, Whitney Anderson, Dunlap, Karson Anderson, Winston Salem, NC, Sterling Anderson, Dunlap and Benjamin (Amanda) Anderson, Highpoint, NC Anderson, step-grandchildren Abbigail Shell and Benjamin Anderson Jr.
Memorial service Friday 4:00 p.m. CDT at Dunlap Seventh-day Adventist Church. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to Dunlap Seventh-day Adventist School. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Thursday 5:00-9:00 p.m. and Friday 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. CDT at the funeral home.
