Vallrie E. Wright, age 79 of Pikeville, died Monday, August 5, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Wright; sons, Wayne and Billy Wright; sisters, Syvilla Odon, and Faye Peels; brothers, Reford, Columbus, and Melvin Davis.
She is survived by a daughter, Alice (David) Dodson, Spencer; son, Bobby (Kay) Wright, Pikeville; ten grandchildren; twenty four great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Judy Moses, Tellico Plains; three brothers, Dillard (Imogene) Davis, Tellico Plains; Grady (Glenda) Davis, Athens; and Dollen (Josie) Davis, Madisonville; several nieces and nephews.
Service Thursday at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the chapel with Rev. Ronnie Davis officiating. Burial in Pikeville Cemetery.Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation Tuesday 5-9p.m., Wednesday 9a.m.-9p.m..
