Cindy Ella Prater age 61 of Pikeville, TN died Sunday April 20, 2008. She attended Smith Chapel Independent Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Walker and father, Elmer Smith, one brother, Jonny Smith and sisters, Sally Ruth Nolan, Nancy Dee Knight and Charlotte Christian.
Survived by her husband, Marvin "Hoss" Prater and children, Martha Louise Marler of Dayton, TN; Racheal Diane Bowman of Pikeville; Mark Wayne King of Cookeville; Carolyn Nadine Johnson of Pikeville; Mathew Raymond King of Soddy Daisy; Angela Denise Smith, Becky Sullivan and Serina Prater all of Pikeville; twenty grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jessie Bouldin of McMinnville and Judy Brock of Pikeville; one brother, Claude Smith of Dunlap; and mother-in-law, Lula Bell Prater.
Services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. CDT at Smith Chapel Independent Baptist Church with Rev. David Farless officiating. Burial in Hitchcox Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home Monday 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. CDT and Tuesday 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. CDT. Online condolences can be made at wwwreedfamily.com.
