Mollie Maurine Reeves, age 91, of Chattanooga passed away April 17, 2008. She was born in Whitwell, TN.,December 12 1916 .Maurine was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Willie Reeves, and daughter, Judy Carol Reeves. Maurine was active in the Republican Party and volunteered her time and energy to campaigns and fundraisers. She also worked at Saint Barnabus Nursing Home in Chattanooga. Maurine enjoyed country music, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her dog, Dudley. She was well loved by her family and friends and will be remembered for her sense of humor and gentle spirit. She is survived by two daughters, Royce (Ed) Durden of chattanooga and Gayle May of Canton, GA;three grandchildren, Carrie May (Ben) Ezell, Gary (louanne) Gilley, and Victor (Kathy) Pryor; three great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and siblings Harvey Cantrell and Nell (Jerry) Dueweke of Michigan. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 1:00 pm CDT oin the funeral home chapel . Buriel will be in Red Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday April 18, 2008 5:00-8:00 pm CDT.
