Alma Sue Cooley, age 68,of Pikeville, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008. She was a member of Lee Station Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Willie "Bud" Cooley; parents Sam Rainey, Sr. and Stell Mae Rainey Bayless.
She is survived by one son, Carlton (Tina) Cooley,Pikeville; one daughter Carlotta Hooks, Pikeville; grandchildren, Jonathan, Jacob and Joshua Cooley, Pikeville; Adam (Karla) Hooks, Dunlap; Jessica Hooks,Pikeville; great grandchild Merrick Hooks, Dunlap; brother Sam (Sylvia) Rainey, Jr, Pikeville; sister Grace (Jim) Ellis, Pikeville; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday, April 10 at 1:00 PM CDT in the funeral home chapel with the Rev Bill Wolf and Jim Ellis officiating. Burial will be in Pikeville Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00-9:00 PM CDT, Wednesday 9:00 AM-9:00 PM and Thursday 9:00 AM-1:00 PM CDT. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Pikeville, Tn.
