Flossie B. Narramore, age 92, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013. She was a member of First Baptist Church and attended the Glennis Bridges Sunday School Class. She was a seamstress and enjoyed all forms of sewing and needle work. She was preceded in death by parents, Sam W. and Ethel McDowell; brothers, Otis, Otto, G.A., and Thomas McDowell; sister, Violet Lively.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Kaye (Ray) Oakes, Dunlap; sister, Claudia Tate, Dunlap; brother, R.J. McDowell, Eastover, S.C.; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jeremy Byrd officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. CDT.
