Jimmy Baggett, age 65, of Signal Mountain, TN, passed away June 3, 2013. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was employed at Hamilton County Department of Education for 33 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lucille Baggett; brother, Jerry Baggett.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Carolyn Baggett; son, Billy Baggett, Tiftonia, TN; daughter, Kristy Baggett, Signal Mountain; grandchildren, Scott, Madison, Leah and Mary; sisters, Joyce Carpenter of Sequatchie County, Helen Watts of Hixson, Dean Morrison, Wilma Higdon, Carolyn Ott all of Signal Mountain; several nieces and nephews; the family would like to thank his amazing friends Rash and McDade and his co-workers.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 1:00 p.m. EDT at Lone Oak Church of God with Rev. Teddy Ott officiationg. Burial will be in Baggett Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday 4:00-9:00 p.m. EDT and Wednesday 2:00-9:00 p.m. EDT at Lone Oak Church of God.
