Eloise E. Singleton, age 89 of Pikeville, died Sunday, May 5, 2013 at her residence. She was born February 3, 1924 to Herbert and Minnie DeBord Evans and was a member of the Wheeler Hill Church of Christ.
Mrs. Singleton was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Leon and Gerald Evans.
Survivors include three sons, Jerry (Janet) Singleton, Greenwood, MS.; Randell (Sandra) Singleton and David (Donna) Singleton, Pikeville; six grandchildren Miranda (Paul) Sherrell, Pikeville; Phil (Jennifer) Singleton, MO.; Julie (Richard) Harrell, Pikeville; Marcus (Paige) Singleton, AR.; Skeet and Samantha Singleton, Pikeville; nine great-grandchildren Marlie and Lee Sherrell, Dylan, John, Raney, Justin, Sarah, and Ava Singleton, Karla Harrell; sisters Juanita Ogburn, Frostproof, FL.; Evelyn McCulley, Soddy Daisy; brothers Earl Evans, Crossville; Donald Evans, Lakeland, FL.; Milburn Evans, Tiffin, OH; Aunt Vera Reagan, Pikeville; several nieces and nephews.
Service will be Tuesday at 11:00 am CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Wally Kirby officiating. Burial will be in Blackburn Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation Monday 6-9 pm CDT.
