Jackie Moody, age 68 of Chattanooga, died Sunday, April 21, 2013. He was a member of Highway 28 Church of God. Jackie was a former tax assessor and county executive for Bledsoe County.
Jackie was preceded in death by parents Beecher and Edith Moody; brother Charles Moody.
Survivors include wife of forty-five years Linda Moody, GA.; daughter Penny Clarke, Chattanooga; son Brian (Becky) Moody, McMinnville; four grandchildren; sisters Betty Jo Loyd and Katherine Moody, Chattanooga; Joyce Jackson, MI; brothers Beecher (Lillie) Moody, IN; Sam (Sherry) Moody, Chattanooga; Bud Moody, Pikeville; serveral nieces and nephews.
Service will be Tuesday at 1:00 pm CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ronnie Colvard officiating. Burial will be in Iron Hill Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation Monday 4-8 pm CDT. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
