Charles Nelson "Chuck" Barnett, age 60 of Whitwell, TN died Friday March 14, 2008.
He was a retired United States Naval Lieutenant Commander.
His father Paul J. Barnett and Brother Alond Barnett preceded him in death.
Survivors include wife Sylvia Barnett; daughter, April Heller, Florida; sons, Charles Plott, Hixson, TN, Alond Barnett, Massachusetts; stepson Terry Pierson, Missouri; mother Dorthy Ann Copeland Barnett, Whitwell; sister Paulette Dodson, New Orleans; brother H. B. Barnett, Soddy Daisy.
Services will be Tuesday at 3:00p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ronnie Cookston officiating. Visitation will be Monday 5:00 p.m. - 8:00p.m. CDT. The arrangements by Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 28, Whitwell, TN. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Disabled Veterans Association.
