Lassie Gay Barnes passed away on Tuesday February 26, 2013 at the age of 93.
She was preceded in death by husband Shirley Barnes; parents, Fate and Dealie Morrison Kilgore; sisters, Viola Kilgore, Bobby Jean Montgomery, Nellie Mae Massingill; brothers Keithly, Emerson, Hubert Kilgore.
She is survived by sisters Irene Hamblen, Evadene Griffith; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Special thanks to caregivers Annise Nunley and Devota Kilgore.
Funeral services will be held Friday 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Hershel Powell and Ken Terry officiating. Burial will be in Whitwell Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell, Tn. Family will receive friends Wednesday 5:00-9:00 p.m., Thursday 9:00-9:00.
