Hattie Jo Worthington, age 86 of Pikeville, died Monday, February 25, 2013. She was a member of Wheeler Hill Church of Christ.
Jo was preceded in death by husband Robert (Bob) Worthington; sisters Jean Gonda, Wilma Mitchell, Annie Mae Taylor, Juanita Holmes, Lela Troglin, and Kay Evans; brothers Charles and Clyde Mitchell.
Survivors include two daughters Gail (Lloyd) Forsythe, Pikeville; Becky (Danny) Nale, Dunlap; Robert Lee "Rooster" (Nancy) Worthington, Pikeville; Billy Joe (Jill) Worthington, Clarksville; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters Virginia Morgan and Sarah Grasham; brother James "Buddy" Mitchell; several nieces and nephews; special care-givers Charlotte Burgess, Sherry Maxwell, and Angie Hale.
Service will be Friday at 1:00pm CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Bobby Collier and Bro. Dale Barger officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Hill Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation Wednesday 4-9pm CST and Thursday 12-8pm CST. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wheeler Hill Church of Christ.
