Virgie Sanders, age 77, of Dunlap TN died Saturday morning, February 9, 2013 at her home after her battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her husband Waymond "Winkie" Sander; two children Arleen and Josuph; parents Alvise and Alice Griffith; four sisters AnaBell, Maudie, Carrie and Mary Ellen Kilgore; brother Walt Ray Griffith.
She is survived by seven children JoAnn, Junior, Wayne, Rickey, Kathy, Lisa, Anglee "Red" Sanders all of Dunlap; 23 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; two Brothers Billy Joe Griffith, IL and Larry Griffith, Dunlap; sister Pat Layne, Whitwell; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Monday 2:00 p.m. at the Condra Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Sunday 2-9 p.m. CST.
