Hazel Worthington Wheeler, age 80, of Pikeville, TN died Thursday morning, February 7, 2008 in an area hospital. She was a member of Wheeler Hill Church of Christ and an educator in the Bledsoe County School System for 38 years.
Mrs. Wheeler was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Earl Wheeler, Sr.; and one brother, Robert (Bob) Worthington.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda Sells, of Brea, CA; one son, Charles Earl (Macky) Wheeler, Jr., of Cleveland, TN; three grandchildren, Aymee Sells, of Brea, CA, Amanda Wheeler, of Ashville, NC, and Charles Earl Wheeler, III, of Cleveland, TN; five great-grandchildren, Arianna Sells, Robert Sells, Ayden Sells, Andrew Wheeler, and Meredith Wheeler; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wheeler will be Sunday at 2:00 CDT p.m. at the Wheeler Hill Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Wheeler Hill Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN.
