Obituary of Chester Allen Cranfill

Chester Allen Cranfill, age 14 of Dunlap, died Thursday, January 10, 2013 at his home after a year long battle with cancer. He was of the Church of God faith and was a student at the Sequatchie County Middle School.
Preceding him in death was his grandfathers Wayne Cranfill and Buddy Turner; grandparents Harry and Willie May Hazelton; uncle Chester Cranfill.
Survivors include father James (Heather) Cranfill, Dunlap; mother Stephanie (Michael) Walling, Dunlap; siblings Brooke, Mallory, Emma, and Irelyn Cranfill, all of Dunlap; Kaylie Hale, Dunlap; Zane Smith, Spencer; grandparents Judy and Ed Gee, Pikeville; step-grandmother Renee Cranfill; grandmother Betty Lou Idema, Pikeville; aunts and uncles Jimmy and Cindy Grant, Sonya and Stoney Olendorf, and Stacy and Tonya Turner; and a host of friends.
Service will be Saturday at 1:00 pm CST in the funeral home chapel with burial in Collier Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation 1-9 pm CST Friday.
