Obituary of Betty Louise Parrish

Betty Louise Parrish, age 75, died Sunday morning, December 30, 2012. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church. She was retired from Arcade Printing Company. She was preceded in death by parents Sim and Ida Thompson; sisters Geneva Barksdale and Rachel Moss; brothers Chester, Lavoid and LaFayette Thompson. She is survived by daughters Sharon (Luther) Carr and Annette (Freddie) Pickett, Whitwell; son Michael (Penny) French, Powells Crossroads; grandchildren Brian Carr, Derrick McGowa n, Alicia Carr LaBonne, Brittany Pickett, Stephanie French Layne; great-grandchildren Austin McGowan and Adleigh Carr; serveral nieces and nephews; good friend and neighbor Bennie McBee. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Harold Taylor and Minister Richard Sain officiating. Burial will be in the Whitwell Memorial Cementery.
