Joy Caldwell, age 66, of Dunlap, TN, died Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Erlanger Medical Center. She was preceded in death by parents, Howard and Retha Standefer; aunt, Vernall Harding; uncle, Mitchell Standefer.
She is survived by husband, George Caldwell; three daughters, Linda Blizzard, AL, Veronica Thompson, and Cynthia Smith, both of Dunlap; four sons, Billy Bates, Tommy Bates, and Lee Bates all of AL, and Rodney Thompson, Dunlap; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; six sisters, Alberta Standefer, Betty Sharp, Gina Cribbs, all of Dunlap, Debbie Neal, Gracie Watson, AL and Patricia Wilson, NC; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday 2:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Cagle-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Saturday 4:00-9:00 p.m. CST.
