Obituary of Flo Maryon Swafford

Flo M. Swafford, age 76 of Pikeville, died Tuesday, December 4, 2012. She was a member of the Pikeville United Methodist Church and was in the miniature collectors club. Flo and husband Leon were owners and operators of Shipley Supermarket in Pikeville for several years. She retired from the Bledsoe County Board of Education.
Flo was preceded in death by parents Creed and Annabel Lee Shipley.
Survivors include husband of forty-six years Leon Swafford, Pikeville; two sons Mike (Cathy) Swafford and Bill (Tammy) Swafford, both of Spring City; three grandchildren Matthew and Marcus Murphy, and Michael Swafford; five great-grandchildren; brother-in-law and sister-in-law John and Betsy Swafford, Pikeville; three nephews and their families.
Service will be Thursday at 11:00 am CST at Pikeville United Methodist Church with Bro. Greg Smartt officiating. Burial will be by her parents in the Spring City Cemetery.
