John Albert Deweese, age 63 of Dunlap, TN died Thursday January 3, 2008 in an area hospital. He attended Highway 28 Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Albert Deweese; two sisters, Carolyn Corbitt and Barbara Deweese and one brother, James Norman Deweese; one niece, Iretha Deweese; one nephew, Kevin Deweese; one sister-in-law, Jerline Deweese; and one brother-in-law, David West.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey Deweese, of Dunlap; mother, Bessie Deweese, of Pikeville; two sisters, Janice Parker, of Pikeville, and Peggy West, of Dunlap; two brothers, Donnie Deweese, of Dunlap, and Bobbie Deweese, of Knoxville; three step-children, Virginia Bowman; Michael Songer and Thomas Smith; seven step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. CST in the chapel with Rev. Danny Lee and Rev. Dan Raines officiating. Burial will be in Walling Cemetery. Visitation will begin Saturday at 6:00 p.m. CST.
