Brian Scissom, age 36, of Whitwell, TN, died Saturday night October 20, 2012. He was a devoted husband and father, avid fisherman and hunter. He was preceded in death by brother, Garan Lee Scissom; grandfather, Newton Scissom; grandparents, Goldie and Harrison Barnett Jr.
He is survived by wife, Amy Scissom; daughter, Hailee Isabel Scissom; father, Gerald Scissom; mother, Nancy Hall; step-father, Jack Hall; grandmothers, Olus Isabel Scissom, all of Whitwell and Sue Hall of Harrison; nieces, Sophie Ann Cookston and Ella Grace Campbell; nephew, Andrew Stephen Campbell.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ronnie Cookston officiating. Burial will be in Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.
