Dotty Shipley King, age 65, of Dunlap, TN died Friday afternoon December 7, 2007 in the Erlanger Hospital. She was a member of the Dunlap Cruisers. She was preceded in death by her parents Rex and Maxine Shipley.
She is survived by her husband Jesse King; three sons, Grady Chappell Jr., Georgetown, TN, Scott Chappell, Hendersonville, NC and Rex Chappell Fairmount, NC; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister Jenny Disque, Chester Springs, PA; several nieces and nephews; step-children, Lee and Joe Burdge, Kim King Berg, Kelli King Kilgore and David Howe; seven step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday 10:00 a.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bill Cross officiating. Burial will be in the Pope Cemetery. Arrangements are by Putnam-Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 Saturday and 3-9 Sunday.
