Kay Jones Venable, age 68 of Powell Crossroads died at her home November 29, 2007. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Preceded in death by parents Kathleen and Vernon Jones and son Dennis Venable. Survived by husband Gene Venable, Crossroads; daughters Kathy and Mike Smith, Gardendale, Ala., Karen and David Hall, Crossroads, TN.; Grandchildren, Kirk and Iesa Smith, Okinawa, Japan, Allison and Lori Hall, Crossroads; great-grandchildren, Haley Smith, Okinawa, Japan. Sisters Jan Wilson, Chattanooga, TN., Nita and Tom McMillan, Chattanooga, TN. Brother, Johnny Jones, Crossroads. Several nieces and nephews and special friends. Services will be Saturday ll:00 a.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with brothers Charles White, Jimmy Holtzclaw, Roger Layne. Burial will be in Teague Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-9 Friday.
