Obituary of James Samuel Freeman

James (Dooley) Freeman, age 76, of Pikeville, TN died Sunday October, 28, 2007. He attended Faith Baptist Church, was a veteran of the Korean War, and retired from Canon Corp. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Willa Freeman.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Summers Freeman, of Pikeville; one son, Dexter (Brenda) Freeman, of Lafeyette, TN; one granddaughter, Danielle Freeman; and one great-grandson, Wesley Freeman, both of Dayton; step-children, Cathy (James) Webb, Deborah Summers and Russell Summers, all of Pikeville; step-grandchildren, Geoff (Tabitha) Chris (JoAnna) and Amy Webb; Corey, Tiffany, and Kaitlyn Summers; two sisters, Barbara Ferguson of Cocoa, FL and Nina Mills of Pikeville; two brothers, Marvin and Junior Freeman, of Pikeville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. CDT at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Doyle Ashburn officiating. Burial will be in James S. Freeman Cemetery. Condolences can be sent online to www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN.
