Obituary of Samuel Bradford Kuivenhoven

Samuel Bradford Kuivenhoven, age 19 of Whitwell, TN died Saturday November 3, 2007. He was a 2006 graduate of Whitwell High School where he graduated in the top ten of his class. Samuel was involved in many activities at WHS such as Beta Club, Interact Club, was a class officer, played football and received the Marion County Seal of Excellence. He was currently a full time sophomore at Tennessee Tech University and was employed part-time at Cheddar's in Cookeville, TN. His grandparents Herbert "Red" and Lucille Higdon preceded him in death. Survivors include his parents Larry and LeeAnn Higdon Whitwell, TN and Steven Kuivenhoven Whitwell; brother Steven Kuivenhoven, Whitwell, TN; step-brother Justin Higdon Cookeville, TN; step-sister Jaci Higdon, Whitwell; grandparents Richard and Sue Rowland, Statesville, NC, Lee and Shirley Norman, Humboldt, TN and Pete and Dorothy Kuivenhoven, Kalamazoo, MI; numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends. Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Darrell Winters officiating. The burial will be in White Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 5pm- 9pm CST.
