Doyle Davis, age 70, of Powells Crossroads, TN, died Wednesday Morning, July 25, 2012 at his home. He was a member of Kelly's Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder. He was preceded in death by parents, Earl and Willie "Bib" Davis.
He is survived by wife, Frances Davis; daughter, Tara (Tony) Yell; son, Jason (Sherry) Davis all of Powells Crossroads; grandchildren, Anna and Asher Yell; two step-grandchildren, Erin and Ray Holloway; sister, Cathy Davis (Mark) Layne, Whitwell; four brothers, Darrel (Brenda) Davis, Mike (Ann) Davis both of Whitwell, Glen (Pat) Davis, Knoxville, TN and Rodger "Buster" K. (Reba) Davis, Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday 2:00 p.m. CDT at Kelly's Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Reverend Tony Tucker officiating. Burial will be in the Teague Cemetery.
