Alfred Holland, 82, of Pikeville died July 12, 2012 at his home. He was a loving husband and father. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Alfred was a former Fire Chief of the Pikeville Volunteer Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Eva Holland; sister, Marie Gifford; brothers, Clarence and William Holland.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Etta "Peggy" Holland, Pikeville; daughters, Karen (Buddy) Fisher, Vicki (John Wayne) Sims; grandchildren, Cindy (Melvin) Cordell; Gail Boyd; Justin, Allen, Eddy (Missy) and Larry Fisher; Mandi (Jeff) Harvey, John Micheal (Felisha) Sims; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the chapel with Rev. Jimmy Williams officiating. Burial in Pikeville Cemetery. Visitation will begin Friday 4-9 p.m CDT.
