Helen Ozelle Agee Taylor, age 97, of Pikeville, died Friday, September 1, 2023.
She attended Faith Baptist Church. She was an elementary school teacher in Pikeville for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John L. and Ada Angel Agee; and brothers, Wiley W. (Jewel) Agee, Wendal W. (June) Agee, Carl Len (Inez) Agee, and Jack (Barbra) Agee.
She is survived by her children, James T. (Jennifer) Taylor, Jr. and Pamela Taylor (Murphy) Ownbey; grandchildren, W. Taylor Ownbey, James Thomas (JT) Taylor, Eric A. Taylor and W. Murphy Ownbey, III; great-grandchildren, Aubree K. Taylor, W. Murphy Ownbey, IV and James W. Ownbey.
Private graveside services will be held Monday, September 11, 2023, at 10:00 am CDT at Pikeville Cemetery with Bro. Doyle Ashburn officiating. Burial will be at Pikeville Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street. Pikeville, TN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Hospital.
