Jerry Wayne Anderson, age 66, of Dunlap, TN, died Wednesday morning May 23, 2012 at Memorial North Park Medical Center after a five year battle with lung cancer. He was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by father, Willard Ross Anderson; brother, Willard Ross Anderson Jr.; sister, Sandra Joyce Oliver; nephew, Bert Oliver.
He is survived by mother, Martha Virginia Shriner; two sons, Jay Oliver, Dunlap and Kevin Ross Anderson, Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Colby and Kaitlyn Oliver, Lynsey Anderson; several nieces and nephews; fiancée, Wanda Layne.
Graveside services will be Tuesday 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Cemetery with Rev. Fred Steelman officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. In lieu of flowers, family request contributions to Sequatchie County Cancer Support Network. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. No visitation.
