Obituary of Jerry Lynn Troglin

Jerry Troglin, age 66, of Pikeville, TN, died Friday, April 7, 2023. He was of the Church of God faith. He was a hard worker and spent his life working in the lumber industry and installing guardrail. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing and star gazing. He was devoted to his family and pets and had a huge, forgiving heart. He was preceded in death by his mother, Treva Jean Keener; father, Claude Smith; son, Casey Troglin; brother, Raymond “Bear” Troglin; sister, Carol Smith; and beloved pet, Tynee. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Troglin, of Pikeville; son, Jason (Ashley) Troglin, of Pikeville; grandchildren, Jake Troglin, Zach Troglin and Silas Troglin; brother, Stacy (Suzy) Smith of Gruetli Laager; nieces, Amy Troglin-McPherson and Haeli Jo “Peanut” Fults; great-niece, Cheyenne McPherson; daughter in love, Jamie Smith Rogers; and several other nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. CDT at Brady Keener Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
