Danny "Boo" Ray McHone, 66, of Pikeville, TN, passed away March 14th, 2023 in Clarksville, TN after a short battle with cancer. He was born February 18,1957 in Whitwell, TN to the late Ann McHone and was raised by his late grandparents Lurk and Lillian McHone after his mother was lost in a car accident when he was just 5.
Boo is survived by his wife Lela; sons, Bobby (Kim) Thurman and Phillip Howard; daughters Chasity (Duane) Smith, and Chloe McHone; grandchildren Alexia Snow, Logan Thurman, Hannah Thurman, Alex Smith, and Kelsey Smith; as well as his best pup Leo and cat Henry.
After retiring Danny loved to watch UT and Broncos Football while claiming every loss was the refs fault. He would spend his free time with his friends tinkering on the mountain he called home and enjoying being a life long East Tennessean.
No services are planned as Boo always wanted to visit the ocean and it was his wishes to see the sea, so his ashes will be spread at a later date by the water.
